Thermostats |

Fast Heat surface mounted thermostats use expansion and contraction of the base to open and close the contact, resulting in the vertical movement of the specially formed, low expansion, thermal spring. The base plate is in full conduction with the heated surface which results in minimum overshoot, smaller cycling differential and faster response to heat loading. The forceful push-pull action of the thermal spring against contact spring tension gives a clean make and break action, resulting in no flutter, less contact wear and longer life. The case is constructed of heavy gauge steel and gives complete protection against damage to the contact springs in shipment and installation. It also guards against contamination of contacts during operation. Thermostats are available either with a screw adjustment of temperature or with a shaft on to which a knob can be fitted Typical Applications
