Fast Heat’s Ceramic Strip heater consists of a stainless steel sheath containing a high-temperature ceramic insulating a Nickel Chrome wire coil. Magnesium Oxide (MgO) is used to fill any air pockets, thus providing the best heat transfer possible.
The terminals are also constructed of Stainless Steel and are securely anchored to prevent twisting out under normal conditions.
The Fast Heat Ceramic Strip heaters provide a dependable, versatile and efficient heat source for a wide range of applications, such as heating air, injection and extrusion dies, food tables and platens.

Finned Strip Heaters

Type R
Simple leads designed for maximum heated length and to accommodate applications where leads can only be accessed from one end and height clearance is a concern.
300mm (12”) leads standard.
Stainless Steel braided lead is optional.
Mounting tab option is available only on opposite lead end.
Standard heated length = Overall Length—25mm (1”)

Type L
Simple to wire screw terminals are well suited for applications where lead access can only be arranged from one side.
