Micropoint Bushings

The NEW Micropoint Hot Runner nozzle is designed to run small moulded parts where close pitch (Cavity centre distance) is required.

Advanced heat transfer technology provides exceptional performance. The special tip design allows for the Micropoint to process commodity, engineering and filled resins while drastically reducing tip wear at the gate.

Internally Fed Gate Tip

The Micropoint Extended Hot Tip (EHT) has been designed to meet the following criteria: -

• Heating right up to the tip to provide better temperature control and tip temperature profile.
• Excellent quality colour changing with no melt stagnation and degradation.
• Ability to be used with most engineering resins as well as commodity resins.

These features provide a range of bushes that permit gating on technical parts in locations that cannot be accessed with standard bushes. The special long-life heaters used are of low profile construction, with hermetic sealing against moisture ingress, while shaded watts density puts the heat exactly where it is needed.

The Micropoint EHT bush should be installed with an external water jacket that isolates the hot melt from the cold core, and will gate inside parts as small as 16mm and as deep as 40mm.
