Pulse 

Pulse is the new System controller from Fast Heat, controlling up to 180-zones. These units come in 30-zone; 60-zone; 90-zone; 120-zone; 150-zone and 180-zone combined cabinets. Easily controlled with an eye-level, back-lit colour LCD panel. (Pulse I lower cost option for 2-24 Zones with black & white display only)

The system includes the following features as standard: -

  • Alarm Beacon

  • System Abort Function
  • EvenSoak tool warm-up Function
  • AutoComp Thermocouple Failure Function.

A colour display is used to aid visibility. This is mounted into a compact display panel with industry standard icons applied to the buttons to ease use. This display is connected to the base unit using a cable that can be extended to enable it to be mounted remotely.

The Pulse system uses modules to ease maintenance and each module has status LED's which show through the tinted front panel of the case.

Pulse is supplied with ATP (Active Thermocouple Protection) as standard. This advanced feature automatically prevents high voltages, frequently caused by tool heater failures, from traveling up the thermocouple cables into the Pulse system and damaging the thermocouple input module.

Standard Pedestal

The standard pedestal has provision for mounting two Pulse cabinets locating the display at eye-level. The standard pedestal also comes with cable hooks to keep the tool connection cables tidy.

Industrial wheels are provided, 2 with brakes, for ease of movement on the factory floor.

Short Pedestal

A short pedestal is also available which has mounting for a single Pulse cabinet and which can be used in conjunction with the wall brackets to fit the Pulse to the wall.

Wall Bracket

The optional short pedestal, detailed above, has provision for mounting a single Pulse cabinet. However, when used with the wall mounting kit, the short pedestal can easily be adapted to fit the Pulse onto the wall.

By removing the fixing bolts on one side, the Pulse cabinet can easily be swung away from the wall to permit access to the rear.

Using the remote display kit in conjunction with the wall bracket, enables the Pulse cabinet to mounted out of the way, releasing valuable floor space, whilst the control and display panel can be mounted in a location more accessible to the operator.
