Junction Boxes

The Junction Boxes from Fast Heat are available in either the long, short or NEW mini style formats.

The short style is ideal for smaller tools or tools where cable access space is at a premium. The long style junction box is capable of handling a larger number of zones and can also be fitted with fuses to protect the thermocouple inputs.

The mini style provides a lost cost solution for single and dual zone applications and incorporates the common HA3 connector format.

Silk screening provides useful information on the recommended start up procedure of the tool and on one face a table is provided on which information relating to the wiring of the tool can be entered.

The Junction Boxes are available from Fast Heat wired to a wide range of industry and bespoke standards.

Junction Box - Mini Style

The NEW mini style junction has been specifically designed for single and dual zone applications providing a lost cost solution for such applications.

Junction Box - Long Style

The long style junction can accommodate up to 24 zones of wiring in a wide range of connector formats.

Alternatively, fuses can be fitted to the thermocouple inputs, reducing the number of zones to 12 but offering the advantage of Fast Blow fuses to protect the thermocouple input on the hot runner controller.

Junction Box - Short Style

The short style junction box can accommodate up to 12 zone of wiring in a wide range of connector formats.

By using the short form factor, this junction box is ideal for mould tools with minimal space for the junction box.

• Interchangeable face plates enables most wiring formats to be accommodated

Junction Box - Double Height Style

By doubling the height of the short style junction box, this junction box can accommodate up to 42 zones of wiring in a wide range of connector formats.

The connectors are all fitted to interchangeable plates, enabling maximum flexibility. The junction box can also be mounted using either its small or long face as the base.

Special Junction Boxes

The unique design of the Double Height junction box enables it to be used to produce special bespoke junction boxes to cope with unusual termination requirements.
