The Fast Strip 38 Ceramic Strip Heaters provide a dependable, versatile and efficient heat source for a wide range of applications, including: injection and extrusion dies, food tables and platens.

Ceramic

The Ceramic Strip heater provides the ability to withstand higher temperatures than conventional mica strip heaters. The heater consists of a stainless steel sheath containing a high-temperature ceramic insulating a Nickel Chrome wire coil. Magnesium Oxide is used to fill any air pockets, thus providing the best heat transfer possible.

The terminals are constructed of stainless steel and are securely anchored to prevent twisting out under normal conditions.

Ultima

The Fast Heat Ultima heater uses a reliable tubular heating element encased in a stainless steel sheath. Designed to withstand most corrosive and high temperature environments (up to 648^oC / 1200^oF), the Ultima's performance is above and beyond the standards set by mica and ceramic strip heating elements.

The heavy duty stainless steel sheath and welded stainless steel end caps of the Ultima eliminate distortion and deformation problems often associated with other strip heaters when operating at higher temperatures.
